Abstract

Higher education is at a crucial moment in its history. Scientific and technological advances, new forms of communication, and globalization have generated a complex panorama that requires rethinking the ways of teaching and learning. In this context, a series of epistemological and didactic challenges emerge that require being addressed creatively and innovatively. This essay aims to analyze the main challenges that higher education faces in this area, outlining proposals to address them critically and purposefully.
